Several members of our Stuttering Research Group enjoyed a memorable cultural evening, attending Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater at the serene Saint Peter’s Abbey Church in Ghent. Performed by the renowned Belgian ensemble La Chapelle Sauvage with soprano Abigail Barker and countertenor Gleb Zakharov, the concert offered a beautifully rendition of this Baroque masterpiece. Beyond the musical experience, it turned out to be a warm and relaxed moment of team building, a chance to step outside the lab, share inspiration, and enjoy each other’s company in an extraordinary acoustic setting.
