Conference: Many Voices on Stuttering and Cluttering

5 August 2026

Prof. Dr. Kurt Eggers and Dr. Selma Saad presented at the International Conference (Many Voices on Stuttering and Cluttering), held on July 25-26, 2026, at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. The conference brought together leading voices in the field for discussions on current developments in stuttering and cluttering.

Kurt Eggers delivered the keynote “Supporting Children Who Stutter: A Clinician’s Guide to Understanding and Working with Temperament”, while Selma Saad presented “Two Languages, One Question: A Closer Look at Stuttering in Bilingual Children.”

Both keynotes aimed to bridge research and clinical practice. By exchanging ideas with SLPs, researchers, and other professionals, we strive to translate research into practice while bringing valuable clinical insights back to our research team in Ghent.
